How Do I Access Seesaw My iPad?
Pre-K and Kindergarten students will use the NNPS Clever Portal to access and sign in to apps such as Seesaw or Dreambox on their iPad. Open the Clever App Scan your Clever QR Badge Your Clever portal will open in the Safari Browser. It looks like this: To access Seesaw, click on the Seesaw Icon in your Clever Portal. This will open the Seesaw Class app on your iPad and log you in.

Clever Troubleshooting- Accessing Clever and Clever-supported Apps
If you are having issues accessing Clever or Clever-supported apps such as Dreambox, Smarty Ants or Seesaw on your iPad, try these troubleshooting tips to resolve the issue: 1. Turn Off Private Mode in Safari: Open the Safari App on your iPad. Select the Box Icon in the top right hand corner Select the button labeled Private. Private Mode is turned off when the word Private is no longer highlighted in white. Go back to the Clever App on your iPad and login again. If you are still having an issue, please proceed to Step 2 below. 2. Close all Open Tabs in Safari: Open the Safari App on your iPad. Long-press (touch and hold) the “two-window” icon in the top right corner. A menu of options should appear. Select Close All ____ Tabs Go back to the Clever App on your iPad and login again. If you are still having an issue, please proceed to Step 3 below. 3. Clear Safari History and Website Data Open the Settings App on your iPad. From the menu on the left, select Safari From the menu on the right, select Clear History and Website Data. From the Pop-Up window, Select Clear Go back to the Clever App on your iPad and login again.

How do I sign in to Google on my NNPS iPad?
How do I sign in to Google on my NNPS iPad? All PEEP, Preschool, and Kindergarten students using an NNPS iPad will need to connect to their NNPS Google Account. Follow all the steps below to complete this process: Step 1: Login to the Google App Open the Google app. Click the head and shoulders in the top right corner. Select Sign In from the pop up window. Enter your NNPS email address. Students in grades PEEP, PK, and Kindergarten will use their 6-digit student ID# as their username. (For example: 123456@nnschools.org) Enter your student password. Students in grades PEEP, PK, and Kindergarten will use their 6-digit student ID# as their password. (For example: 123456) Step 2: Login to the Chrome App Open the Chrome App. You may be prompted to Sync your Google Account. If so, skip to Step 6. If not, go to Step 2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. From the menu, select Settings (located at the bottom of the menu). Click Sign in to Chrome. Click Continue. Click on your NNPS account. Turn on Sync to Access Bookmarks saved to your Google Account. Then click Yes, I’m in at the bottom right. Click “Accept and sign in” from the pop up window. You will see your initial or chosen profile image in the top right corner if you are successfully signed in.

Adjusting Camera and Microphone Permissions (Student Devices)
When a student accesses an app or website for the first time and would like to record sound, video, or capture images in the software, they will need to allow the app or website to access their device’s camera and/or microphone. If a student accidentally denies access to the camera and/or microphone, you can adjust the permissions by following the directions below: For students using an iPad: Open the Settings App. Locate the App from the menu on the left side of the screen. Turn on the Camera and/ orMicrophone* For students using a Chromebook: Tap on the site identity icon (the lock symbol) in the address bar. Turn on access to the Camera and Microphone.* Hit the refresh icon to reload the page. *Please note: the camera and/or microphone setting cannot be turned on until the student reaches the point in the app where they will use them for the first time.

Accessing the QR Code Scanner on Student iPads
If your students are accessing online content with their iPads by scanning a QR Code (quick-response code), you will need to enable the iPads’ Code Scanner. Teachers will set up access to the Code Scanner: Open the Settings App. Locate the Control Center from the menu on the left side of the screen. Add Code Scanner as an accessible option from the Control Center. Students will access and use the code scanner: Swipe down from the top right corner of the iPad (look for the battery level icon). Select the Code Scanner icon. Find a code to scan.

How do I remove/put on a shared iPad protective case?
Removing an iPad case should only be considered if the case prevents the use of instructional technology such as Osmo reflectors and bases. iPads should remain in a protective case at all times to prevent damage. Removing a shared iPad protective case Remove the hard plastic front cover screen (black). Remove the rubber casing (red). Remove the hard plastic back cover (black). Putting on a shared iPad protective case Place iPad into the hard plastic back cover (black) Make sure you can still see the camera lens on the back. Place the rubber casing (red) around the entire back of the iPad. Make sure you can still see the camera lens on the back. Place the hard plastic front cover screen (black) over the top of the red rubber casing and secure the top, sides, and bottom. Make sure the front camera lens and the “home” button shapes match up with the case. The iPad case needs to be removed and replaced accurately to prevent damage to the case, the power button, and the glass screen.
