How to Archive a Class in GoGuardian
As a teacher, it's important to keep your GoGuardian classes organized. One way to do this is by archiving classes that are no longer in use. Archiving a class will remove it from your Active classes list, but you'll still be able to access it if you need to in the future. In this article, we'll go over how to archive a class in GoGuardian. Archive Classes To archive a class in GoGuardian, you'll first need to access your classes: Log in to your GoGuardian account via Clever Portal Select Classrooms on the left hand side You should now see a list of all your active classes. Find the Class tile you want to archive in the list. Select Settings on the Class tile Select "Archive" from the dropdown menu. Access Your Archived Classes Once you've archived a class, it will no longer appear in your active classes list. However, you can still access it if you need to. Here's how: 1.Select the Classrooms tab on the left hand side 2. Click on the "Archived" tab. You should now see a list of all your archived classes. 3. How Do I Post a Zoom Link in Seesaw?
How to Post a Zoom Link in Seesaw Posting a Zoom link in Seesaw To get the link for the meeting click on Meetings at the top of the app window. Then click on the meeting you need the link for on the left side of the app. Click the Show Meeting Invitation link. The link you will need to highlight and copy is located on the invitation under the words Join Zoom Meeting. You do not need the entire invitation, just that link. Log into Seesaw and click the green plus button then choose “Add to Student Journal” Choose the Drawing tool Copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) an image of the Zoom Icon onto the journal page. You can search Zoom Icon or use the one on the right. Select the three dots on the image you pasted and select Link. Paste the Zoom meeting link in the text bar provided and select the Green Check to attach it to the image. Once you have added any additional information you need to post. Click the green check button in the top right corner. Click assign to everyone. Then click the green check to confirm. If you want to organize your post into a folder you can do that in this step or just check the green check on the screen to post your page. To pin the post to the top so it’s the first thing students see when they log in to Seesaw click the three dots then choose “Pin to Top”. How Do I Post a Zoom Link in Canvas?
Posting the Zoom link in Canvas using Rich Text Editor To get the link for the meeting click on Meetings at the top of the app window. Then click on the meeting you need the link for on the left side of the app. Click the Show Meeting Invitation link. The link you will need to highlight and copy is located on the invitation under the words Join Zoom Meeting. You do not need the entire invitation, just that link. Open the Rich Content Editor when creating or editing an announcement, assignment, discussion, page, quiz, or syllabus. To insert a link from the toolbar, click the Link icon [1] and select the External Links option [2]. Note: To view the Link icon, you may have to click the Options icon [3]. Enter the text for your hyperlink in the Text field [1]. Paste or type the URL for your hyperlink in the Link field [2]. Click the Done button [3]. Notes: The text will flash before turning into the hyperlink. When clicked, external hyperlinks automatically open in a new browser tab.
