Why Is My Webcam Video Showing In Black And White?
If your computer's webcam is not displaying color, you can fix this issue in the Skype for Business settings. 1. Open Skype for Business. It can be found by clicking the Windows icon in the toolbar, or the magnifying glass to search for it. 2. Once Skype opens, you do not need to sign in. Click the gear icon to open settings. 3. Click Video Device, then Camera Settings. 4. Check the Saturation level. If it is at 0, this is why the camera is black and white. 5. Adjust the Saturation level by clicking and dragging the blue slider to at least 50. 6. Click Apply, then OK to save the changes. Click OK to close Skype settings. 7. The webcam should now display in color for all platforms (Zoom, Camera app, etc).

Why Is My P: Drive Disconnecting?
Your Personal Drive may disconnect for a variety of reasons, but fortunately we have a quick fix for when it does. Download the attached file and whenever your P: Drive is disconnected, double-click on the file and once it has finished running your drive should be reconnected.

How Do I Connect My Aluratek Wireless Headset?
1. Turn on Bluetooth on your laptop by selecting Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, and turn on Bluetooth. 2. Turn on your Bluetooth audio device and make it discoverable. On your PC, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth. Choose the device and follow additional instructions if they appear, then select Done. How Do I Extend to a Second Monitor?
Connect Your Monitor: Change your Display Settings: Using Extend Display: To change what shows on your displays, press the Windows logo key + P. Here's what you can choose: PC Screen Only: See things on one display only Duplicate: See the same thing on all your displays Extend: See your desktop across multiple screens. When you have displays extended, you can move items between the two screens. What are the NNPS Staff Password Requirements?
Below are the NNPS Staff Password Requirements: Length - Passwords must be 8 characters or more. Characters - Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories: Lowercase alpha characters (a, b, c, d, e...) Uppercase alpha characters (A, B, C, D, E...) Numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...) Special symbol or punctuation characters (! @ # $ % & * _ + ~ . ,>) Passwords should not be based on anything somebody else could easily guess or obtain using person-related information (e.g., names, employee ID, telephone numbers, dates of birth, etc.) If you need further assistance please submit a NNPS Technology work order.

Which Employees are Eligible to Receive an NNPS-issued Laptop?
NNPS staff are provided with computer technology suitable for their assigned duties. In most cases, employees are given an individual computer for their exclusive use; however, some employees who require limited access to a computer may share a desktop PC. Many NNPS positions are eligible to receive a laptop instead of a desktop. The following positions are eligible for NNPS-issued laptops: Analysts Parent Involvement Specialists Assistant Principals Principals Board Members Professional School Counselors Coordinators Reading Specialists Directors School Psychologists ESL Specialists School Resource Officers Executive Directors Senior Staff Graduation Coaches Social Workers Instructional Coaches Specialists Instructional Specialists Speech Pathologists Instructional Supervisors Student Support Specialists Instructional Technology Coaches (ITC) Supervisors Interventionists Teachers Librarians/Media Specialists Technology Support Specialists (TSS) Nurses At the request of a Supervisor, other NNPS employees may be eligible to receive a laptop with approval from the Supervisor of Technology Operations or the Director of Technology.
