Why Is My Webcam Video Showing In Black And White?

If your computer's webcam is not displaying color, you can fix this issue in the Skype for Business settings.

1. Open Skype for Business. It can be found by clicking the Windows icon in the toolbar, or the magnifying glass to search for it.

2. Once Skype opens, you do not need to sign in. Click the gear icon to open settings.

3. Click Video Device, then Camera Settings.

4. Check the Saturation level. If it is at 0, this is why the camera is black and white.

5. Adjust the Saturation level by clicking and dragging the blue slider to at least 50.

6. Click Apply, then OK to save the changes. Click OK to close Skype settings.

7. The webcam should now display in color for all platforms (Zoom, Camera app, etc).
