Follow the guide below to learn How to Download Files from your Google Drive to your computer's local drive. Downloading an Individual File To download one file: 1. Open the Folder the File is stored in 2. Select the needed file by Right clicking on the name of the File 3. In the drop down menu, Select Download. The file will now download to you computer, creating an icon at the bottom of the Chrome browser. 4. Select Download and all the selected files will prepare to download Notice this time when the files are downloaded a Zip file is created. 4. Select the arrow and Open the files. To Extract the Zip file: 1. Select the Extract/Compressed Folder Tools tab 2. Select Extract All 3. In the dialog prompt, Select Extract. Now your multiple files are stored in your computer locally.

How do I remove a Google Account from the sign-in list on my NNPS laptop? Go to Chrome on your laptop and open https://accounts.google.com/ In the top right, select your profile picture or initial. Select Sign out or Sign out of all accounts. Select Continue. Select Remove an account. Click on the ⊖ (minus) button next to the account you want to remove. Select Yes, remove, then sign back into your NNPS account. If you've signed in on other mobile browsers, like Firefox or Chrome, repeat these steps for each internet browser.

Downloading Files from Google Drive Using Google Takeout on a Chromebook
Do you have Google Docs or other content in your Google Drive that you want to access after leaving NNPS? If so, Google has a process you can use to download your Google Drive content for use and storage as you see fit. Recommendations Clean up your Google Drive before downloading files The Google Takeout process downloads all files in your drive – you may not want everything. If you only want a small set of files, simply select the files and download them directly from your Google drive without using the Takeout process. Go to the website: https://takeout.google.com/ Under Create a New Export, Click Deselect all. Click the box next to “Drive.” Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Next step.” Under destination, choose “Download Link via Email.” Under frequency, choose “Download Once.” Leave file type as a .ZIP It is recommended to leave the maximum file size at 2 GB but that is your choice. If your download is larger than 2 GB, you will receive more than 1 download file. Check your NNPS email to find the download link, once it is complete. Click on “Download your files.” Click the “Download” button. Note: Ensure your Chromebook is plugged in or fully charged, as the download process could take a while. Your download will start automatically. The download process will take some time; you can track the progress on the bottom right corner of your screen. Find your Downloads folder by clicking on the circle on the bottom left corner of your screen Click on Files to find the .ZIP folder(s) that you downloaded Move the .ZIP folder(s) from your Downloads to your flash drive or other removable storage.

(YouTube playlists, Google Classroom files, etc…) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Next step.” Under destination, choose “Download Link via Email.” Under frequency, choose “Export Once.” Leave file type as a .ZIP It is recommended to leave the maximum file size at 10GB but that is your choice. If your download is larger than 10 GB, you will receive more than 1 download file. Click Create Export Check your NNPS email to find the download link, once it is complete. Click on “Download your files.” Click the “Download” button and choose Desktop as the destination. Note: Ensure your laptop is plugged in or fully charged, as the download process could take a while. Your download will start automatically. Locate the zipped folder on your desktop. Move the .ZIP folder(s) from your Desktop to your desired location.
