How to Verify Email Address in Canvas
Follow this guide to learn how to verify if your email address in Canvas. 1. Select the Account tab 2. Select Settings 3. On the right hand side of the screen, your email address should appear. If there is an ! Exclamation point next to the email address listed, it needs to be confirmed If there is a Star next to the email address listed, the email has already been confirmed. 4. Select the email address listed to Re-Send the confirmation to your email inbox. 5. Go to your email inbox to find the Confirmation email. Please note this may take a few minutes to send. Select Click here to confirm this registration link Now you have confirmed your email address for Canvas. How to Remove Yourself from Google LTI Assignment Courses
If leaving the district, teachers should take time to remove association from all Google LTI 1.3 Assignment courses prior to their last day. After a teacher’s last day, their division Google account will be disabled and difficult for others to replicate the following process. If a teacher does not remove association from all Google 1.3 Assignment courses, a “400 error” related issue will occur for all enrolled users and prevent access/submission to embedded assignments and work. 1. Navigate to https://assignments.google.com/ca to see all your associated courses listed. 2. Select the Three Dots to the right of the course 3. Select Delete course 4. In the prompt, Check the box next to the I understand that this action cannot be undone 5. Select Done. Repeat these steps for each course. How to Login using the Non-Authenticated Canvas instance URL
1. Navigate to the URL to login to Canvas without using Google: https://nnps.instructure.com/login/canvas. 2. Enter generic account username and password. New Teachers in training will be assigned a numeric based generic account. The credentials correspond to the numerically ordered New Teacher account. For example, a New Teacher 300 will enter their username as "New.Teacher300" and password as "NewTeach300-2024". 3. Login to Canvas for Dashboard access. The Dashboard will show assigned courses as course cards. Navigate to the proper course needed for training or sandbox play/testing.
