Which Employees are Eligible to Receive an NNPS-issued Laptop?

NNPS staff are provided with computer technology suitable for their assigned duties. In most cases, employees are given an individual computer for their exclusive use; however, some employees who require limited access to a computer may share a desktop PC.

Many NNPS positions are eligible to receive a laptop instead of a desktop. The following positions are eligible for NNPS-issued laptops:

Analysts Parent Involvement Specialists Assistant Principals Principals Board Members Professional School Counselors Coordinators Reading Specialists Directors School Psychologists ESL Specialists School Resource Officers Executive Directors Senior Staff Graduation Coaches Social Workers Instructional Coaches Specialists Instructional Specialists Speech Pathologists Instructional Supervisors Student Support Specialists Instructional Technology Coaches (ITC) Supervisors Interventionists Teachers Librarians/Media Specialists Technology Support Specialists (TSS) Nurses

At the request of a Supervisor, other NNPS employees may be eligible to receive a laptop with approval from the Supervisor of Technology Operations or the Director of Technology.
